The rigors of the M.Div. and M.A. programs demand that all applicants have a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from an institution recognized by Shepherds Theological Seminary. Exceptions are made only in extraordinary circumstances. However, students who are currently enrolled in bachelor's degree programs in recognized colleges and universities and are at or entering senior standing, may seek early admission to Shepherds. This practice allows the serious student to gain advanced credit that would apply towards final M.A. or M.Div. degrees requirements. The student must make formal application, including transcripts, and undergo an interview with the Dean of the Seminary and selected faculty.

• Students seeking the Bachelor of Theology need to have 60 hours of college credit.

• Students seeking the Associate of Church Ministry do not need college credit, but they do need to have applicable ministry experience.

• Apply as an audit (not for credit) student.
