It may not seem that it is possible to have a life outside of seminary. Though it is true that involvement in seminary is time-consuming, STS encourages students to maintain active lives outside of the classroom walls. One of the significant ways to enjoy life outside of seminary is through consistent involvement in a local church. Involvement in the local church, specifically Colonial Baptist Church, can provide much needed balance for the students and their families. Colonial has many active ministries including: men's ministry, women's ministry, sports ministry, and many others!
